Overager Cody Morgan, the 12th-overall pick by Kingston in the 2017 draft, will join London from Flint for a third-round pick in 2022, a sixth-rounder in 2023 and a 10th-rounder in 2024.
The 20-year-old scored a career-best 15 goals and 58 points in 63 games with the Firebirds in 2019-20. He has also spent time with the Frontenacs and Windsor Spitfires over four major junior seasons.
The five-foot-11, 186-pounder from Maple is currently the only overager on the London roster. They have room to add two more 2001-born players.
The Knights were slated to face Hamilton in their final preseason game Friday at Budweiser Gardens before their home opener next Friday against Owen Sound.
