A fast and frantic display of horsemanship at this year's Indigenous Relay Racing - The Globe and Mail

Team Poitras Relay, from the Saulteaux First Nation, is one of ten teams competing in the Indigenous Relay Racing at the Calgary Stampede. The sport is a fast and frantic display of horsemanship with a long history steeped in cultural significance. Jay Peeaychew and Aleyha Poitras prepare to compete in the race.
