Guggenheim Securities Senior Analyst Gregory Francfort joins Yahoo Finance Live to discuss the current state of fast-casual dining.
Francfort believes that pushback in the Middle East is “likely to happen” for US fast food companies that have a presence there, in response to current US stances on geopolitical tensions.
Taking a closer look at menu innovation, Francfort acknowledges shifting preferences from consumers but insists that value-driven offerings are what consumers are most concerned with, stating “the US consumer values price... than anything else.”
