UW prof explains implications of Canada's fast population growth from international migration - CBC.ca

Statistics Canada is reporting record population growth in the third quarter of this year. Martin Cooke, an associate professor and demographer at the University of Waterloo, says with the retirement of the baby boom generation, Canada is aging at a faster rate than most OECD countries and immigration is a really important policy to try to offset it.
