One person was taken to hospital Sunday following a fire on Edgehill Drive.
Barrie Fire and Emergency Services were called to a balcony fire at 90 Edgehill Drive, near the Anne Street bridge, where crews did a "fast attack" and minimized damage to the exterior balcony of the unit, explained Deputy Chief Carrie Clark.
Both the origin and cause of the fire are still being determined and there is no damage estimate.
The resident was taken to Royal Victoria Regional Regional Health Centre (RVH) as a precaution by paramedics.
All residents were quickly allowed back in the building.
