Taysom Hill is making his first official quarterback start of the 2021 season on Thursday night versus the Cowboys.
Hill is a versatile player on the Saints, sometimes playing as a wide receiver, running back or tight end. He's most known to be a quarterback, though. This season, Hill lost the quarterback contest to Jameis Winston. However, Winston has been out since Week 9 due to a season-ending ACL injury. Trevor Siemian has taken over since, but has yet to win a game.
Hill played quarterback at BYU and was known for his speed. But, just how fast is Hill?

Who are the fastest quarterbacks in the NFL?
Often, a quarterback's speed is determined by their 40-meter dash time. Before the 2021 season, now Bears quarterback Justin Fields recorded a 4.44 second dash time, which is close to Hill's time from 2017.
Two of the quickest quarterbacks in the league right now, Lamar Jackson and Kyler Murray, both didn't run the 40-meter dash.
Madden '21 sparked a debate about the fastest quarterbacks last year, after they announced their top five ranked quarterbacks. Jackson and Murray took the top two spots, respectively, with Hill followed behind at third. Marcus Mariota and Tyrod Taylor finished out the list, and they both don't start in the NFL this season.
In Madden '22's list, Fields beat Hill for the third overall spot.
