Three Blue Demons won their opening singles matches while one doubles team duplicated that effort.
Lenka Antonijevic started out with a 6-2, 7-5 victory over Andie Weise of rival Marquette. Yuliya Kizelbasheva followed her teammate's lead, taking down Selina Karg of Bowling Green 3-6, 7-5, 6-2.
Last week's top player, Marija Jovicic, picked up right where she left off. The graduate student from Bosnia-Herzegovina won her fourth in a row with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Bowling Green's Ines Iglesias.
Maddie Yergler stumbled in her first-round match, falling to Tijana Zlatanovic of Illinois State 5-7, 6-3, 6-3.
Yergler and Jovicic opened doubles play with an 8-3 decision over Chicago State's Sofiya Sedovich and Cali Fuller. The Antonijevic/Kizelbasheva tandem received a bye into the next round.
DePaul was unable to record a singles win in the second round.
