Vegan fast-food chain goes public - QSRweb.com

Vegan fast food will be the next big thing in the QSR industry if Globally Local Technologies Inc. has anything to say about it.

The parent company of Globally Local, a Toronto, Canada-based vegan fast-food chain is trading on the TSX Venture Exchange after partnering with Black Lion Capital Corp. to consolidate as Globally Local‎ Technologies Inc., according to a reporton Veg World Magazine.

James and Vasiliki McInnes opened the first restaurant in 2016 in London, Ontario, and two years later, built a manufacturing plant in order to keep its menu prices competitive with other fast-food chains. Although it only has two restaurant locations, which function primarily as a takeout and delivery business, the company plans to open 20 additional restaurant locations in North America in the next 12 months.

Customers may order online, through the company's app or at self-checkout kiosks.

Globally Local is listed as GBLY.
